On the heights of Mancey, archaeological digs over the last three years have uncovered buildings buried under murgers. These investigations have brought to light two exceptionally well-preserved temples. The abundant finds have made it possible to date them from the end of the 3rd to the end of the 4th century AD. They are located in an area that has been inhabited since the end of the Gallic period.

Visits are by prior arrangement only, and groups are limited to 30 people (free admission). Registration requests will only be received by e-mail at the following address:

Groups may request tours outside these times.
Each tour departs from the Col du Navois car park (between Mancey and Corlay) at 10am.
The approach to the site requires a 15-minute walk along the Chemin des Moines, with a difference in altitude of around 60 metres. You'll need shoes suitable for stony terrain. In the event of thunderstorms or heavy rain, the outing may be cancelled.
