Start at Ruffey Park in Sennecey-le-Grand – Finish at Ruffey Castle in Sennecey-le-Grand

One night in the year 911, five monks gathered in the forest of Saint Germain des Buis. Fascinated by astronomy and sacred geometry, they were searching for the Earth’s ley lines.

There, they discovered a temporal rift – a place where different eras overlap and where time no longer flows as it should.
In their attempt to understand it, they caused a compression of time and vanished, condemned to wander through the centuries.

On 26 September 2026, the calculations predict that the rift will open once more. Past and future could collapse within it, allowing fragments of eras, strange messages and distortions of reality to emerge.

As you walk, stay alert: objects and signs may become incoherent… and the forest might well hold you captive...

Route:

-43 km: Departure at 2.30 pm by bus to Cluny – return via a linear route to Sennecey-le-Grand – 5 refreshment stops
-32 km: Departure at 4.30 pm by bus to Saint-Gengoux-de-Scissé – return via a linear route to Sennecey-le-Grand – 4 refreshment stations
-20 km: Start between 6.00 pm and 7.00 pm in waves every quarter of an hour. Loop course – 4 refreshment stations
-15.5 km: Start between 7.15 pm and 9.00 pm in waves every quarter of an hour. Loop course – 2 refreshment stations

Compulsory equipment: Ecocup, water bottle of at least 1 litre, rucksack, warm clothing, head torch with spare batteries, walking boots and a means of communication (mobile phone).

Dogs are not permitted due to the various activities and volunteers along the route. The atmosphere at some of the activities may frighten dogs and put our volunteers at risk.
