Le Four à Pain

Chambre d'hôtes

Corinne, a former restaurateur with a passion for "cuisine & gastronomy of the world" and Patrick (both bikers), welcome you to an authentic 18th century Burgundian farmhouse full of character (dating from 1727), steeped in history & carefully restored, nestled quiet on the edge of a small alley. Total tranquility in the heart of a charming little typical and preserved village with a rich heritage, steeped in charm, famous for its 11th century Romanesque church (the "Lighthouse of Southern Burgundy" dominating the promontory of the Saône valley; sublime panoramic belvedere to the Alps & Mont-Blanc) & its 3 equipped lakes (fishing & swimming). A stone's throw from the first vineyards as well as the gentle hilly countryside around, combining "full nature" and agriculture, between forests & bocage meadows, nestled at the foot of the wooded foothills of the wild massif of South Burgundy (remarkable ecosystem protected in "Zone Natura 2000" ) to be covered during soothing walks or mountain bike rides. Comfortable rooms. Warm country character mixing various "deco" influences themed according to the family history of your hosts. Zen & soft atmosphere. Pleasant terrace (in gravel) fitted out on an intimate closed courtyard, vegetated & flowery, nestled at the back of the house (extended by a mini garden). Composition: 3 guest rooms fitted out in a separate wing of the owners' house. Wi-Fi (fiber). Gas central heating. Common living room on the ground floor with full kitchen with free access (hob + microwave oven + fridge with freezer). 2 double bedrooms on the 1st floor (double bed 160x200cm in each) with private shower rooms (shower + separate toilet). 1 double bedroom on the 2nd floor (double bed 160x200cm) with private bathroom (shower + separate toilet). Gravel terrace (enclosed courtyard) with mini garden. Local bikes / motorcycles. Private parking. Restaurant at 100m. Amenities 2.5 km. Table d'hôtes in 2 formulas (full meal or "gourmet platter").
