Chapaize: start from the car park, then follow the D14 to the left along a protected footpath (500 m).
Turn left towards Lancharre and continue straight on for 1.5 km, skirting the Bois des Brosses. There is a picnic table at the start of the path. A little further on, you can take a break on a bench under a magnificent elm tree.
Lancharre: Take the time to discover this small hamlet in Chapaize, which for 6 centuries was a priory for noble nuns known as the "Dames de Lancharre". Thanks to exemplary restoration work, its Romanesque church has been restored to its meditative beauty.
After the Lancharre washhouse, turn left onto the path (chemin de l'abreuvoir), which climbs slightly. Continue straight ahead for 1 km.
At the crossroads, turn right and continue for just a few metres.
Turn right and continue straight on for 1 km until you reach the picnic table.
