De Sennecey-le-Grand à Mâcon - Circuit 4 jours

This tour takes you along the Chemin des Moines from Sennecey-le-Grand to Mâcon, via Cluny and Tramayes, where you will follow the route of Santiago de Compostela, and finally to the famous Solutré and Vergisson rocks.

Leaving Sennecey le Grand along the Chemin des Moines, a historic path offering magnificent views of the Tournugeois mountains. Follow the ridge paths to the Roche d'Aujoux, offering an exceptional viewpoint.
Arrive at the medieval village of Brancion, famous for its castle and church. Take the opportunity to visit these historic monuments and admire the view over the Grosne valley.

Second stage: from Brancion to Cluny, via Mont Saint-Romain, the highest point on this stage offering a 360° view of the region. Be prepared for a fairly steep climb, but it's well worth it.
Arrive in Cluny, famous for its Benedictine abbey, one of the most important in Europe in the Middle Ages.

On this third day, join the famous pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostela and walk in the footsteps of thousands of pilgrims. This stage will offer you a unique spiritual experience.
Arrival in Tramayes: This peaceful village is a good place to rest after a day's walking.

The final stage from Tramayes to Mâcon takes you past the Roche de Solutré and Vergisson. These two natural sites are not to be missed. The Roche de Solutré, famous for its wines and cliffs, offers a panoramic view over the Saône valley. Vergisson is a charming wine-growing village with many cellars to visit.
Arrive in Mâcon, a dynamic town and the finish point of your tour. Take the opportunity to discover its historic heritage and taste the region's wines.
