From the Voie Verte to the south of the medieval town of Saint-Gengoux-le-National, head for Sercy and its 12th- and 15th-century château. Pass through the charming villages of Bresse-sur-Grosne, Champagny-sous-Uxelles, Chapaize (a stop at the Romanesque church is recommended!), Bissy-sous-Uxelles and then Cormatin before rejoining the Voie verte and heading north towards your starting point.
